Peter Kim
With 10 years of experience in pastoral ministry, I have had the privilege of journeying alongside individuals and couples through the ebbs and flows of the Christian life. Counseling has become a deep-seated passion due to its sacred nature of extending both the safety and guidance of the shepherd heart of God.
I am committed to working with any individual or couple that desires to honor God and others through their own wholistic well-being. My hope is to listen to the bottom and provide an interpersonal source of understanding, drawing out from the depths within each person. I am committed to prayerfully listen to each individual intently but also to the Spirit of God expectantly. My hope is for every session to have God’s fingerprints all over it, as he tends to and transforms his people.
I hold a Master of Biblical & Theological Studies from Western Seminary and a Certification of Counseling through the Association of Biblical Counselors.
Most importantly, I have been following Jesus imperfectly for 28 years. I’ve had the honor of being married to my best friend for 8 years and we get to parent our 5-year-old son and 6-month-old daughter together.
