Mariah Boltz, LPC-A

Life is a complex array of experiences and each person is wonderfully unique. There is an interconnected web of moments and connections that contribute to every person I encounter. From stressful events to generational trauma to maladaptive thoughts and behaviors... It can all be overwhelming. I view my role as a guide, partnering with others in their journeys and consider it a privilege to sit with others amidst the complicated reality of living in a very broken world.

I seek to facilitate personal growth through an integrated biblical lens with theoretical approaches such as person-centered, existential, family systems, and restoration therapy. Ultimately, I believe that personal enjoyment of God is transformational in all aspects of life – body, mind and spirit – and hope to hold the door open to spark this delight in people.

I am a transported Texan and grew up between the suburbs of Houston and North Dallas. Upon graduation from Texas A&M University, I pursued my passion for championing kids as a fifth-grade teacher. Realizing I spent more time sitting on the floor outside of the classroom processing life with students in crisis – and acknowledging a rising passion for mental health – I left the teaching profession to pursue my Masters in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary.

I love being a part of my church family, riding my bike, watching a good movie, and spending time with my people! I look forward to journeying with the clients of Hall Counseling.
