Jon Crantz, MDiv, Dmin
With over 20 years of experience as a pastor, I’ve served as a trusted advisor, counselor, and coach to individuals and couples navigating life’s many challenges. I approach coaching as a collaborative partnership focused on creating a meaningful and desired future. I help clients solve problems, generate solutions, and uncover a deeper sense of purpose—both personally and professionally.
I specialize in working with adults who are striving for greater emotional well-being, seeking balance in their work and personal lives, and pursuing clarity and direction. Whether it’s managing stress, navigating complex relationships, developing leadership skills, exploring a new vocational path, or fostering spiritual growth, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for honest reflection and personal transformation.
My approach to coaching and counseling is grounded in reflective listening, asking purposeful and thought-provoking questions, and guiding clients as they chart a path toward their vision and goals. I’m known for being disarming, curious, direct, practical, and compassionate—qualities that create a supportive yet challenging environment where clients feel empowered to move forward.
I am certified as an executive coach from the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University. I hold a Doctor of Ministry degree in Spiritual Formation and Master of Divinity degree (Emphasis on Pastoral Care and Counseling) both from Fuller Theological Seminary.
My wife and I are longtime residents of the Houston Heights. We’ve been married for over 25 years and are proud parents of two college aged sons.
